The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the short and mid-term urological emergencies and the emergency department

Dynamic changes are observed in the delivery of health care services due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Its effect short term is a dramatic decrease service, however, its medium and long unknown. In this study, we aimed investigate effects pandemic on emergency department urological surgery during 8-month period, reasons for possible changes. Emergency operations, urology operations surgical procedures between April November were compared as 2020 period 2019 non-pandemic period. The relevant information was obtained from hospital management system.
